Registration will open for the 2016 VFX Hocus Pocus Tournament on November 1, 2015.

Registration and Cost Information: Interested teams can register using advancedeventsystems.com. Once you have registered online, please print the entry form and send payment in to VolleyFX immediately to secure your spot. Teams are accepted first come; first serve and spots are confirmed once payment is received. The 12 and under division is open to boys and girls and will only take place on Sunday with the cost for that division being $200.00. The cost of the tournament for all the other divisions is $425.00. All teams need to be prepared with the most recent copy of their USAV roster at check in on Friday night or Saturday morning of the tournament (check in for 12s will be open at our Friday night check in as well as Sunday morning). Candian teams can bring a self-made team roster and entry fee must equal $425 American. Any questions please contact Lindsey Schlegel.
Tournament Format: Each division will be originally seeded based on previous tournament results and will then be put into pools of 3,4 or 5 based off the seeding and number of teams in each division. Some divisions may use power pooling to better serve all teams attending. Teams will play one complete round of pool play, and then teams will reseed for a complete second round. After the second round, teams will enter playoffs based on their current standings and single elimination play will begin. Each team is guaranteed seven matches, and losing teams are expected to stay and work the next match once playoffs have begun. All teams should assume play starts at 8am on both days of play in all locations. VolleyFX will do its best to release out of town teams from their work duties if the opportunity presents itself. Pools and brackets will be posted on this page as the tournament gets closer.
Tournament Details: As we get closer to the tournament date, all information that is needed will be sent out to clubs via email and posted to this webpage. We will have the locations, addresses, tournament format documents and information for Canadian teams on this page.

Travel Teams can help teams book discounted rates at many hotels in the Rochester area for all teams coming to play in the event.
